All the lovely wines we offer are supplied by Staintons Wines who are based just down the road in Kendal.
We have been loyal customers since our startup way back in 1989. Stainton Wines supply interesting and characterful wines and fit in with our ethos which is to purchase as much as possible from the local economy. Obviously it is a bit of a struggle to cultivate grapes in the Lake District but Stainton Wines offer us the next best thing. If you enjoy the wines on our list and would like to purchase a few bottles for home consumption we highly recommend a visit to the Stainton wine shop a veritable Aladdins cave of all things wine.
